
Bachelor in Dental Surgery BDS (Univ. of Birmingham) 1985.
3 year MOrth and MSc Postgraduate degrees training course in Orthodontics at The Royal London and Whipps Cross Hospitals in London completed in September 1995.
Then Senior Registrar in Orthodontics based at St. James's University Hospital, Leeds and Pinderfields Hospital, Wakefield from October 1995 to November 1998. Passed the Intercollegiate Speciality Examination in Orthodontics F.Orth. RCS in April 1998.

Main Orthodontic Research Interests
Orthognathic surgery (including clinical psychology aspects), functional appliances, treatment outcome & quality, 3-D facial laser scanning, clinical bonding with reinforced glass ionomers.
General Interests
Married with 2 children – aged 9 and 10. Enjoy travelling, wine, tennis and running (Great North Run) and anything that tires my children out by the end of the evening!
