Nominations Committee

The Nominations Committee recommends to the Board the appointment of the President, the Northcroft Lecturer, Honorary and Life Memberships of the Society, Distinction Awards and Special Service Awards. The Committee also makes a short-list of the nominations for the posts of BOS Chairman and Treasurer.

The Committee members are the President, the Chairman, the Executive Secretary and two senior members of the Society. The two senior members are currently Liz Devenish and Chris Wright.

The Committee usually meets in May at the time of the BOS Spring Meeting. The Minutes of the Committee are confidential but the recommendations are made to the Board and published in the Board Minutes.
