Welsh Consultant Orthodontic Group

Members of the Welsh Consultant Orthodontic Group are Consultant Orthodontists and those in Training Programmes to become Consultants.

The Consultant Orthodontists Group represents Consultants and Trainees on all aspects of Orthodontics to provide optimal working conditions and care for patients.

The Group interacts with other organisations and offers guidance on hospital orthodontics within Wales and liaises closely with the Welsh Assembly Government on policy-making issues when necessary.

The Chairman of the group represents the WCOG on the Consultant Orthodontic Group of the British Orthodontic Society.

Mae’r aelodau o Grwp Ymgynghorwyr Orthodonteg Cymreig yn cynnwys Ymgynghorwyr Orthodonteg a’r rhai sydd mewn rhaglenni hyfforddi i ddod yn Ymgynghorwyr

Mae’r Grwp Ymgynghorwyr Orthodonteg yn cynrychioli Ymgynghorwyr a’r rhai sy’n hyfforddi ar bob agwedd o Orthodonteg i ddarparu yr amodau gwaith a’r gofal gorau bosibl i’r cleifion.

Mae’r Grwp yn ymwneud â sefydliadau eraill ac yn cynnig arweiniad ar orthodonteg ysbyty yng Nghymru ac yn cydweithio’n glos â Llywodraeth y Cynulliad ar broblemau sy’n ymwenud â llunio polisi pan fo hynny yn angenrheidiol.
