International Trainee Representative

TGG is going through a process of restructuring of its committee in order to better represent the needs of the trainees in the UK at the present time. In view of this, we recognise the increase in numbers of trainees from outside the UK and indeed outside the EU. We have thus, decided to create a new position on the committee, titled as International Trainee Rep. This position will become available from September 2009 for one year extendable to a maximum of two years. The individual must be an international student enrolled in a training programme leading to the award of the MOrth. The role of this person on the committee will be to highlight issues and concerns affecting trainees from outside the UK and will be voted in at the TGG Annual General Meeting in September at the BOS conference in Edinburgh.
