President - Geoff Webb

The President is the Society's ceremonial head and each year the Society elects a distinguished member whom it wishes to honour.

Geoff Webb was installed as President in September 2007 during the Annual Conference in Harrogate. He was Chairman of the British Orthodontic Society 2002-05 and before that was Chairman of the BOS Scholarship Committee.

Geoff spent most of his career as Consultant Orthodontist at the Kent & Canterbury Hospital until his retirement, and was also in specialist orthodontic practice in Canterbury for 20 years. He became Associate Postgraduate Dental Dean, British Postgraduate Medical Federation in 1993, and later Postgraduate Dental Dean for Kent, Surrey & Sussex. He was an examiner for MOrthRCS(Eng) 1992-97
