An Introduction to Occlusal Indices March 2007

With advent of the new NHS orthodontic contract in April 2006, orthodontic treatment has been restricted to the more sever malocclusions as measured by the Index of Orthodontic Treatment Need (IOTN). Outcomes of treatment will also need to be measured by the Peer Assessment Rating (PAR). A working knowledge of both these indices is therefore essential for any practitioner involved in carrying out NHS orthodontic treatment.

This course offers an introduction to the use of these indices and is led by Nigel Fox who has lectured widely and published several papers on the subject.
