The Curator of the BOS Museum, Jim Moss, is appealing to all members to seek out material for the museum. Much valuable historical material has been lost when older members retire and their records are discarded.
Current requests in particular are for
1. Records of cases treated by methods of historical interest which are not in current use.
As far as possible the documentation should be to presentation case standard. Cases must fully digitised and submitted in this format. Hard copy and models cannot be accommodated in the musuem
2. Examples of functional appliances of all types from the past
We would like to build up a collection illustrating the different designs used over the years - Frankel, Bimmler, Stockfisch and many others.
Offers of material should be made to Jim Moss via the BOS Office. He will also provide further details of the required format for cases submitted.
