Managed clinical networks in orthodontics

The BOS firmly supports and encourages the setting up of Managed Clinical Networks in Orthodontics which it believes is the way forward in terms of engaging with commissioning bodies at a local level. MCNs should be of mutual benefit for providers and purchasers alike.

Two model frameworks have recently been devised by the BOS Orthodontic Practice Committee.They are accompanied by an introductory document expaining the concept of the managed clincial network.
