What does the NHS offer?

Orthodontics is an integral part of the NHS Dental Services. Treatment for teenagers is covered by the NHS if there is a demonstrable need. The decision is normally based on the Index of Orthodontric Treatment Need - see below. Unfortunately there are shortages of NHS orthodontic practitioners in some areas and it can sometimes be hard to access NHS orthodontic treatment.
