Managed clinical networks in orthodontics

The BOS firmly supports and encourages the setting up of Managed Clinical Networks which it believes is the way forward in terms of engaging with commissioning bodies at a local level. MCNs should be of mutual benefit for providers and purchasers alike.

The framework documents for a local MCN:
The overview document should be read first. It provides some background information on MCNs as well as illustrating how we envisage the two model frameworks integrating with each other and with commissioning bodies. The two draft frameworks are provided in Word format so that they may be edited as desired.
