British Orthodontic Society Foundation Facts

Since 2000, the Foundation has:

• Raised over £350,000 for orthodontic research

• Spent only 1.5% of this on administration and fundraising

• Made Awards totalling over £325,000 for orthodontic research and teaching

• Supported 19 projects

• Including eight prospective clinical trials

• Of the supported studies, nine have been completed

• This has resulted in presentations at every BOC since 2003

• And an increasing number of papers in refereed journals
