Dr Robert Evans

 I am a consultant orthodontist and have worked at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children since 1995. My main clinical interests are the management of children with complex facial deformities and the multidisciplinary treatment of children with complex medical problems. I was the Medical Director from 2006 – 2010 and I am currently the Caldicott Guardian.

Dr Joe Noar 

I am a consultant orthodontist and honorary senior lecturer at the Eastman Dental Hospital/Institute in London. I have an interest in early orthodontic intervention.

Mrs Mariyah Nazir


Mariyah qualified with honours as a dentist in 2001 from the University Dental Hospital of Manchester. Following a variety of practice and hospital posts she undertook her specialist training in Manchester, gaining the Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and the MPhil from the University of Manchester. Mariyah gained the Intercollegiate Speciality Fellowship in Orthodontics of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2009 to gain Consultancy status.

Maren Gaukroger

Maren completed her specialty training at King’s College London. She was appointed in 2001 to Barnet & Edgware Hospitals, which are now part of the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. There she was Clinical Governance Lead for the Division of Surgery until 2014. She has been a Medical Appraiser for 10 years and was Associate Medical Director for Revalidation until the Trust merger in 2014. She then relocated to United Lincolnshire Hospitals Trust in 2017.

She joined the BOS Audit Committee in 2015 with a responsibility for reported adverse incidents

Dr Jadbinder Seehra

Jadbinder qualified with Honours from University of Manchester in 2002 and undertook his specialty orthodontic training at both Guys and St Thomas NHS Foundation Trust and Kent and Canterbury Hospitals. He was awarded his MSc with Merit from Kings College London, and obtained the Membership in Orthodontics (MOrth) in 2009.

During his training he has treated many complex cases, adult and child patients and multidisciplinary cases using a range of orthodontic appliances and techniques. He is a current Royal College of Surgeons MJDF examiner and has held the position of Chairman of the National Training Grades Group of the British Orthodontic Society in 2011.
