For practitioner members with a special interest in orthodontics

The PG Committee is drawn from members of the Society who are Dentists with a special interest in Orthodontics working in Primary Care.

Sean Masterson

Qualified from Sheffield in 1989 and have worked as a GDP in Derbyshire for the last twenty three years. I have served on the local dental committee and more recently as secretary of the local orthodontic MCN, the practioner group of the BOS and the Grants and Scholarships committee of the BOS.

Martin Kelly

I’m based in the North West about halfway between Liverpool and Manchester. I’ve worked as a clinical assistant in orthodontics under our local consultant from 2000 to 2006. I have an orthodontic element to my NHS GDS contract and I have recently completed a diploma in orthodontics at Warwick University.

Peter Thornley

Peter Thornley is a General Dental Practitioner with an interest in orthodontics.  He is a partner in a practice in Sutton Coldfield.  Peter was the Dental Foundation Training Programme Director for Health Education England in Coventry for 10 years.  He was Chair of Examiners for the MDGS and MFGDP examinations.  He is chair of Sutton Coldfield BDA branch and is currently the Local Dental Network Chair in Birmingham and Solihull, for NHSEI. He won the BOS Practitioner Prize in 2019.

Farhana Campbell-Bell

Dr F Malik Campbell-Barr qualified from Guys Hospital as a Dental Surgeon and is a partner at Wembley Orthodontic Centre and 130 Dental Centre in Hayes, Middlesex.

I have enjoyed developing a special interest in orthodontics over the past 12 years and now limit my practice to orthodontics working both in the hospital and in orthodontic practice.
